The Throne of Seal: The top ten heirs of the seventy-two demon gods appear, with only two demon gods lacking successors.
Last week, the audience got to watch the latest episode of “Throne of Seal” anime, episode 88. This episode mainly focuses on the events leading up to the opening of Dream Paradise. At the end of the episode, the show unveiled the first candidates from the Devil Clan whom the show had chosen to enter the Dream Paradise. They are the heirs of the Seventy-Two Demon Gods and the Top Ten Demon Gods. Let’s talk about what happens next in this article.
In the anime plot, both demons and humans agreed to send half of their people to the Dream Paradise, but since there were only twenty places, the demons had to choose their top ten heirs from the seventy-two Pillars of the Demon Gods to enter. However, there are restrictions on the level of entrants, and only those below the seventh level are allowed to enter.
Based on the plot of this anime episode, the demons have sent ten people to the dream paradise. These individuals are A Bao, Men Di, Yue Ye, Leng Xiao, Shen Shang, Masilo, Wallisa, Angela, Lightning, and Credodo. A Bao is the successor of the first pillar of the Demon God, the Demon God Emperor, while Mendi is the successor of the third pillar of the Demon God Star. Shen Shang, Masilo, Walisha, Angela, Lightning, and Credodo are the heirs of the fourth to tenth pillars of the Pillar Demon God, respectively.
In the original novel, there are seventy-two demon gods in the demon clan, with the top ten being the First Demon God, the Demon God Emperor Fengxiu, the Second Demon God, the Moon Demon God Agares, the Third Demon God, the Star Demon Vasak, the Fourth Demon God, Pillar Demon God Samikina, the Fifth Pillar Hell Demon God Marbus, the Sixth Pillar Bear Demon God Walliver, the Seventh Pillar War Mad Demon God Ananda, the Eighth Pillar Force Demon God Barbatos, and the Ninth Pillar Angel Demon God Baimeng, with the Demon God Pal of the Tenth Pillar being the Lightning Demon God.
In Dream Paradise, there are restrictions on the level of entrants. The heirs of the demon gods are typically around the eighth level, but they forcibly suppress their level to enter Dream Paradise without any issues. However, if anyone in Dream Paradise tries to break through forcefully to the seventh level or above, Dream Paradise will punish them. Shen Shang, the successor of the fourth pillar of the demon god, met his demise in Dream Paradise because of this rule.
Attentive viewers may have noticed that although the demon clan has ten spots available for entry, not all the top ten demon gods’ heirs are participating. Two of the participants, Yue Ye and Leng Xiao, are not demon gods’ heirs. Yue Ye is the daughter of the second pillar demon god, Yue Demon God, but she is not his heir. Similarly, Leng Xiao is the daughter of the first pillar demon god, Emperor Fengxiu, but she is not his heir either. This means that there are only two demon gods without heirs participating in the event.
It is believed that Yue Ye could not become the successor of Moon Demon God because she is a hybrid of humans and demons, despite her impressive strength and talent. On the other hand, Leng Xiao has both the strength and talent to become a successor, being the daughter of the demon god Feng Fengxiu, the princess of the heaven-defying demon dragon clan, and the eldest lady of the demon clan. Her status is second only to Abao.
In addition, there is another demon god, the war-crazed demon god Ananda, who did not send an heir to participate in the Dream Paradise. Ananda is the seventh pillar demon god and, unlike the moon demon god Agares, he has no heir. According to the original novel, Ananda is the only demon god without an affiliated race among the seventy-two pillar demon gods, so he has no heir. Also, Agares has only one daughter named Yu Ye.
