In the season one finale, we saw Meng Chuan in three guises simultaneously appearing in the same time space, taking on the past, present, and future. I could say that Bai Nianyun regarded the Xiaoxiao Demon King as a pawn to train his son.
So, in the story, the protagonist gets some help from Meng Chuan Yuanshen to solve a dream they were having. Together, they could send the Smiling Demon King back to the past. During this journey, the protagonist saw a scene where Bai Nianyun killed the Smiling Demon King. In an attempt to go out on his terms, the Smiling Demon King used the power of the Demon Star, but it wasn’t enough to defeat Mengchuan, who ultimately killed him with a single move.
A special episode is coming soon
In the Demon Hunter anime, the animation quality is really impressive compared to other Chinese comics. However, I was a little disappointed that the first season ended so quickly. I am eagerly waiting for the second season and hope it will be more mature. But the good news is that a special episode is coming soon! Its trailer has already been released, and I’m excited to see Liu Yebai looking so cool and meeting Meng Quan’s father, Meng Dajiang. I can’t wait now.
